Carlos Wheelock leads LNG related matters for Vitol in the Americas. His responsibilities include marketing and trading, deal origination, and capital investments in the region. Prior to joining Vitol, Carlos served 8 years at Excelerate Energy as Vice President of Commercial Strategy, and helped to build the commercial team from its inception. Prior to joining Excelerate, Carlos was a Vice President at Citi and began his career at Enron. He has 20 years of experience working in global energy markets and holds an MBA from Rice University’s Jones School of Management.
