Dr. Srinivasan (Vasan) Ambatipati is currently the Department Head of Engineering and Computer Science and Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering. He has over 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas R&D and specializes in natural gas conversion technologies and in-situ chemical production. Dr. Vasan joined McNeese in 2019 and developed Natural Gas Processing Fundamental courses to both Chemical and Non-Chemical Engineers. He works closely with local industry mentors and manages senior design capstone projects.
