BIO
Oguzhan Oguz has more than ten years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a particular focus on negotiation, drafting and management of contracts. In his current role as the Deputy Head of Natural Gas Purchase and Export Department at BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation, Oguzhan has been involved in scores of (term and spot) LNG deals and responsible for the management of several long-term natural gas sale & purchase agreements.
Before working in the field of trading, Oguzhan advised on several major cross-border natural gas pipeline projects, such as the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) Project. He also has substantial knowledge of upstream and infrastructure projects and related financings.
He holds two LL.M. degrees, one in International Finance Law from King’s College London and the second one in Energy Law and Policy from CEPMLP, University of Dundee.
